What You Can Do

Call and write all of your Oklahoma representatives. You can find out their name and contact information on this website. Let your representatives know that you support regulations of high volume breeders, pet stores and private sheltering facilities.

Make sure they know that you are aware that the proposed regulations are a duplication of the regulations that all of our licensed breeders already follow and these will not affect the facilities that are in compliance with these laws.

Write letters to the editor regarding your concerns and encourage others to educate the public about this issue.

Join animal welfare activities that teach the public about this issue.
